Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Skills. ("the Service") at myskillscard.xyz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service.

What Skills. Is

Skills. is a digital business card platform that lets you create, share, and manage a personal or professional card accessible via a unique link or QR code. Features may include profile information, social links, payment handles, media galleries, an AI chat assistant, lead capture, and networking contact management.

Your Account

You must be 18 years or older to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at myskillscard@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission, or use a name, email, or slug that impersonates another person or entity.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Skills. to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Skills. — your photos, bio, links, and other information are yours.

By uploading content, you grant Skills. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service (e.g., showing your card to people who visit your link).

You represent that you have the rights to all content you upload, and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

Plans & Billing

Skills. offers Free, Pro, Elite, and Enterprise plans. Features and limits for each plan are described on our pricing page and are subject to change with reasonable notice. Payments are processed through Square.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you choose to cancel, your account will be canceled immediately or at the end of your current billing cycle — your choice. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for if you select end-of-cycle cancellation.

Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a payment is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including unused time, plan downgrades, or account cancellation. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days at myskillscard@gmail.com and we will review the charge.

No-Show & Deposit Forfeiture

Providers using the Skills. booking feature may require a deposit from clients at the time of booking. If a client fails to appear for a confirmed booking without prior cancellation (a "no-show"), the provider may retain the deposit in full.

Deposit amounts and cancellation windows are set by the individual provider and displayed to the client before booking confirmation. Skills. records these terms at the time of booking but is not responsible for enforcing or mediating individual disputes between providers and clients.

Providers who cancel a confirmed booking are expected to refund any deposit collected from the client.

Frozen & Deleted Accounts

If your payment fails or your account becomes past due, your account will be frozen. While frozen, your public Skills. card will be taken offline and you will lose access to paid features. Your data is preserved during this period.

You have 7 days from the date your account is frozen to bring your payment current. If payment is not received within 7 days, your account and all associated data — including your card, CRM contacts, bookings, and media — will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.

Skills. is not liable for any loss of business, leads, bookings, or data resulting from a frozen or deleted account.

One Account Per Device

To maintain platform integrity and prevent abuse, Skills. collects a device fingerprint — a combination of signals such as device model, operating system, screen resolution, and timezone — to identify devices associated with multiple accounts. This does not include your IMEI, serial number, or any hardware identifier restricted by Apple or Google.

Creating multiple accounts from the same device to circumvent plan limits, suspensions, or bans is a violation of these Terms and may result in all associated accounts being permanently terminated.

AI Features

Your public card may include an AI chat assistant that responds to questions from visitors on your behalf. This assistant is powered by a large language model and may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing your card's AI behavior and ensuring it represents you appropriately.

Do not rely on the AI assistant for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skills. and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, your public card will be taken offline and your data will be removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, with or without notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify active users of material changes via email or an in-app announcement. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Houston, Texas.
